I’ve been getting orthodontic treatment at another clinic, and on this particular day, a wire from my braces pierced into my mouth, causing a severe wound. I had to endure the pain while working all day, and by the time I got off work, I intended to visit my regular clinic—but it was pouring rain nonstop, and I couldn’t make it there in time. To make matters worse, I had an international flight that night at midnight. I urgently needed to find the nearest dental clinic to simply clip the wire that was cutting into my mouth. It was a quick and simple procedure—many clinics would help out in such situations, even for walk-ins, and some would charge a fee, which is totally acceptable. However, when I arrived at this clinic around 7:00 PM, drenched from the rain and clearly in pain, hoping for just basic assistance before my long flight—I was outright rejected. The reason? “I wasn't a previous customer.” There was no effort to listen or I'd like to share an unpleasant experience. While I understand each clinic has its own policies, I strongly believe that as a healthcare provider, the priority should be the well-being of people in need—regardless of whether they've been here before. The complete lack of compassion and refusal to help in such a straightforward case was disheartening. I hope this review serves as a reflection point for the clinic to reconsider how it approaches emergency walk-ins and basic human decency in the future. I'm sharing a negative experience.
