An Invisalign platinum provider Dr Blandy is an expert in improving smiles with Invisalign – the clear alternative to braces.The Invisalign System is the nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth and improve your smile – without braces. Invisalign treatment works through a series of clear, comfortable and removable aligners that are custom made as per Dr Blandy’s treatment plan. While working as a general dentist Mark developed an interest in orthodontics and commenced a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics where he gained the skills necessary to improve patient smiles and become a registered specialist orthodontist. He has been awarded membership to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and is currently a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and Australian Orthodontic Board. Dr Blandy prides himself on being able to offer high quality yet affordable orthodontics to all age groups and periodically visits both Tully and Weipa to help provide specialty services to more remote regions of Far North Queensland and Cape York. My autistic daughter very rarely let's people get in her personal space and nearly refuses all and any form of physical contact. However, the team at "Cairns Specialist Orthodontists" are the exception. Dr Mark Blandy and his professionally trained assistants are not only kind and friendly i believe they are the leading experts in FNQ for orthodontics. The care plan and technology used has seen remarkable results in a short time. I am relieved and greatfull of the choice we made to go with this practice for my daughters orthodontic treatment. Shorty after getting my braces I suffered a traumatic event, resulting in severe PTSD and agoraphobia. Dr. Mark Blandy and his team have been both extremely kind and accommodating. I should have my braces of soon, but I am more then happy with the results so far.

Dr Mark and the team at Cairns Specialist Orthodontists provided us with an excellent and very professional service, all with great results. The fact that they also travel outside of Cairns and provide regional services in Tully and Weipa on a regular basis cut down on travel and missed school time for our child for follow-up visits. From the start the team were professional, sincere and responsive. Every question I had was answered, I never had to wait for appointments, and the level of support was everything I wanted. Be warned, Dr Blandy is a perfectionist..so if you want your braces off early or before your teeth are a masterpiece..be ready for polite resistance. :) However you will always be supported in your choices. I have never experienced such a nice group of people (who are also professional) in a dentist or doctor. It is truly noteworthy. Talk to them and decide for yourself, but I think you will agree with me.
