e serious effects. I refused, but both of them continued to persuade me, emphasizing that I had “periodontitis”, so I finally agreed. However, the actual procedure was just normal scaling, there was no “intensive” treatment step, and I was only given an additional tube of topical medication (web price 55k) After that, I asked my Dentistry student and was told: It is impossible to diagnose periodontitis just by looking at the x-ray, and it is even more impossible to treat periodontitis just by scaling and applying medication. When I texted back to ask for clarification, they explained that “deep root scaling is already an intensive treatment”, and added that “I chose that package myself, no one forced me to”. But in reality, I only chose that package because the doctor told me I had periodontal disease, and no one would suddenly upgrade the package from 199k to 1 million without being scared. I really don’t know if the doctor there lacked expertise, or if the consultants intentionally said that to upsell, but after I got home, I felt like I was cheated. The problem is not the doctor’s skills – I don’t deny their scaling technique – but the way the clinic takes advantage of customers’ confusion to upgrade the service. Until today, I haven’t touched the tube of medicine given, and my teeth are completely normal. The dentist called to “explain” once, after I questioned the doctor’s diagnosis, they said they would go back and ask the doctor and inform me, but until now they have not contacted me. I asked: deep root cleaning is “intensive treatment”, and if I choose the 199 package, is it just a rough surface cleaning? And actually, my teeth are not that deep, normally I clean other places and also do a thorough cleaning of the root for me. It’s better to spend 300-400 to get a normal cleaning than to go and get frustrated like this. Who can stand it when they don’t say they have a disease?
The staff is very dedicated, cute and enthusiastic. The team of doctors is very good. Painless dental work.
